The Shinnick Center
Our Shinnick Center rooms are expansive yet cozy. These one-bedroom/one bathroom living spaces provide our residents with the assistance and care they need while surrounded by their own personal items.
The Shinnick Center also has stunning views of the outdoors One side has views of the walking trail, with all its trees, nature, and the morning sun. While the west side faces Norwood Boulevard, the trees with many squirrels, and birds roaming the landscape.
Most importantly, at The Shinnick Center, you will receive the high level of personal care and attention you need and deserve. Assistance may come in the form of bathing, dressing, personal hygiene and so much more.
The Shinnick Center will provide you with a high level of personal care and attention. A licensed nurse is on duty around the clock providing our residents the care they need and deserve. Additional services are available along with personalized activity programs cueing, social stimulation, in room medication administrated by a licensed nurse, transfer assistance, and single person ambulation.
Some of our services that we provide are:
- Licensed Nurse, 24 hours per day
- Three delicious, nutritious meals daily, with tray service and meal supervision, snacks, as well as providing special diets, including the complex nutrition needs
- Personalized activity programs/cueing/social stimulation
- In-room medication, administered by a licensed nurse
- Transfer assistance and single-person ambulation
- In-room call system and nightly observations
- Personal care, including bathing assistance
- Bowel and bladder program
- Housekeeping and laundry services
- Cable TV/Internet access
- Scheduled transportation
