To Our Residents and Family Members:
In a spirit of transparency, our community, wants to inform you that we have received notification that a Resident or Staff member at Helen Purcell has been diagnosed or is probable for COVID-19. Ensuring the health and wellness of our residents is always, especially now our top priority. We are working diligently to stop the spread of COVID-19 within our community by implementing all required CDC and ODH guidelines including isolation, increased monitoring as required and extensive cleaning, and sanitation processes. In the case of a staff member that is positive or probable for COVID-19, we are ensuring they remain out of the community until there is no longer an exposure risk.
As always please call our community to inquire about your loved one or to ask any questions during this difficult time.
For reliable information and to learn more about COVID-19, we encourage you to visit the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) website or visit ODH’s website as reliable sources of information on this critical topic.
All visitors will be required to wear a procedure/Surgical mask at all times while in the facility. Masks will be supplied by Helen Purcell.
We know this is a difficult time for everyone and we will work to provide you with appropriate updates as they become available.
We know that you may have specific questions and we encourage you to contact Helen Purcell at: 740-453-1745 nurses’ station at Ext. 107, Missy Miller, Director of Resident Health & Administrative Service at Ext. 101, or the Executive Director Vince Durant at Ext. 106.
